Jeremy practices corporate and commercial law in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate structures, commercial agreements, partnerships, joint ventures, shareholders’ agreements, reorganizations, corporate governance and forestry law. He also acts as general counsel for First Nations clients.

While his work spans many business areas, Jeremy is a skilled legal advisor in corporate commercial operations and transactions that focus on the natural resource sector. He draws on his background as a registered professional forester to assist clients in navigating the regulatory framework of British Columbia’s forestry industry and applying that knowledge and experience to help address his client’s practical legal and business needs – from tenure transactions and structuring, to fibre supply agreements, woods services agreements and compliance and enforcement opportunities to be heard (OTBHs) under the Forest and Range Practices Act.

Jeremy’s experience working on all sides of Indigenous governments and corporate entities, municipalities, community forests and resource companies, plus his technical natural resource knowledge, enables him to provide well-rounded and common-sense strategic advice to often complex legal issues. Jeremy is recognized by Chambers Canada as a leading practitioner in Agribusiness law.
